Offering an authentic Thai Restaurant as well as a traditional English menu and takeaway service, The Nelson Tavern has something for everyone.
We offer a huge range of branded spirits and fine wines, and have recently been Cask Marque accredited for the quality of our real ales.
Sky TV is unobtrusively installed in the bar showing rugby, cricket, sailing racing and selected football. We also have regular live music (see events) in the bar.

The Nelson Tavern, along with Thai Food and spirits, specialises in Dorset Cream Teas which are complemented by a range of over 50 teas from all over the world.
We have a large south facing walled garden with plenty of seating and a heated smoking area.
Unique to the Nelson, our takeaway service is available seven days a week and we have a fully licensed seated waiting area with sky television.
